Dr. Mary-Jane Snair is a child psychotherapist in Delmarva. She has lived and worked with her husband and children in Eastern Maryland for the last seven years. She is well connected with the area's schools, pediatricians, and health facilities. She holds a passion for helping children and adolescents with mental health needs and their families.
She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Maryland and a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH) in the State of Delaware. She is board certified (NCC) by the National Board for Certified Counselors and is a nationally certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT). Dr. Snair holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University (APA Accredited Program). She also holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The College of Saint Elizabeth.
Dr. Snair’s seventeen-year counseling career has included service for institutions such as Delaware Guidance Services in Seaford, Delaware, and Princeton House Behavioral Health in Princeton, New Jersey. She was also a school-based clinician for schools in New Jersey, providing child & adolescent counseling and serving as the case-management liaison among students, community agencies, treatment centers, and the court system, as well as in IEP meetings at the schools.
